When fast growing companies like organic food producer Pacific Foods shut down their facility for critical maintenance, they seek partners with contractors who can deliver solutions in a timely and efficient manner. Coast Pavement Services had already established itself from previous pavement maintenance projects to be more than reliable when quality and timing are the key factors to a successful project.

In April, Pacific Foods closed down one of their key production lines for maintenance including repairs on their asphalt parking lot and drive lanes. They also had concrete repairs and new striping needs to make their parking lot and outside loading facilities more safe and effective. The asphalt and concrete maintenance projects were just one of several critical projects which were scheduled to be completed in three days.

Steve Zimbelmann, Plant maintenance coordinator for Pacific Foods, nervously juggled contractors from different trades while asphalt paving equipment was maneuvered around the entire work area. In a symphony of efficiency, the asphalt and concrete projects were finished on time and on budget despite the spring weather surprises. Coast Pavement Services takes particular pride in tackling projects that require a little bit of extra care and attention.

It is that care and attention which have lead us to be a leader in pavement maintenance in the Portland area. A clean, safe, and sound parking area is our goal for all our customers.
