Asphalt
It’s the material used to construct most of our roads, playgrounds, tracks, sports complexes, pathways, and more. It gets all the praise as the top layer, but there is a science and technique behind laying asphalt properly that will last for decades, and that’s where we come in. Call us!
Recyclable?
While asphalt is a mixture of aggregates, binder, and filler and is certainly petroleum-based, it is one of the most recycled materials in the entire construction industry, and according to driveasphalt.org 94% of asphalt reclaimed from old roads and parking lots goes back into new pavements, its an incredible material!

Pavement Preservation
RePlay Asphalt-Rejuvenating Sealer
Using a patented formula, we can treat your asphalt with RePLAY, a bio-based asphalt rejuvenator that not only protects the surface of the asphalt but also penetrates beneath the surface. This product, made from soy-bean oil and recycled Styrofoam, provides a net-negative carbon footprint while extending the life of your asphalt.

Pavement Markings
When we repaint apartment parking lots, drive-thrus, churches, schools, sport courts, or any other surfaces, we not only improve the aesthetic of the property, but we also create a safer environment for everyone by making the traffic control explicitly clear.
Re-Striping:
Brightly colored striping is an effective way to stand out and, for many parking lot maintenance projects, striping is the finishing touch. Even though it comes last in the paving process, its importance shouldn’t be overlooked. Striping lot marking is crucial to guide people safely around your retail store, restaurant or other commercial or industrial facilities.
New Layouts:
Coast can lay out and stripe new and existing parking lots to conform to existing plans or will reconfigure the striping to meet municipal code and ADA handicapped access guidelines.
ADA Compliance:
Based on the most recent state and federal guidelines, we can provide an analysis of whether your current ADA configurations are compliant or not. If not, we can propose a new layout to bring you back into compliance.
Sweeping
We started as a sweeping company in 1970 and we are still sweeping to this day. Because it not only cleans up the pavement and makes it look better, but sweeping keeps toxic things from entering storm drains and running off into the ocean and rivers. Excavation Services
Our experienced excavating crew can help prepare the land for any building structure that you might be planning. This includes preparing the property for a new building, new concrete, or new asphalt. More than moving dirt around, our excavation crew can help prepare your site through grading, trenching and other soil-related tasks
Concrete
According to the Contractors Society of America, concrete is considered to be the most popular building material; widely chosen for its ease of use, popularity, strength, and durability, among many other reasons.
Bio-Based Sealer
Opti-Seal Penetrating Concrete Seal is the best choice for preserving any concrete surface. The deep-penetrating solution stops alkali silica reaction (ASR) and seals out moisture. Concrete preserved with Opti-Seal is stronger and lasts longer in all climatic conditions. Once Opti-Seal is sprayed onto the concrete surface, it can penetrate up to four inches and seals out moisture from the surface down. Green nanopolymers stop ASR and work as a deterrent to rust on embedded rebar.
Before:
Trees had expanded this garden island on the entire right side, but this corner was especially bad.
After:
The trees were removed; we also removed curb pieces and prepped the surface, poured extruded curbs and sealed them.
Signs & Fixtures
Signs, bollards, wheelstops, storm drains and other fixtures all fall into our wheelhouse. We also make custom sign faces for you and install them on the pole of your choice at a height that is in compliance with local law.
Thermoplastic
In high traffic areas, sometimes a longer-lasting solution is the installation of thermoplastic. We can even adhere custom graphics – like company logos – to the asphalt or concrete surfaces. As with any markings, when these need to be refreshed we can grind out the old and install new.
Wheelstops
Coast provides and installs precast parking bumper curbs, also known as bumper blocks or wheelstops, which offer a simple, effective, and durable solution for improved parking management. Our wheelstops are reinforced for increased durability.
Our plastic wheelstops resist attack from gas, oil, salt, sunlight, and chemicals. Molded in solid colors to never need painting, in many applications, these wheelstops can also contribute to LEED® credits.
